PRIVATE ZOOM LESSONS NOW AVAILABLE
WITH two OF ROBBEN’S “CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS”

If you're looking to get even more out of your Dojo experience, we’re happy to announce that Robben has certified two of his senior students to offer private lessons.

Alberto Passanisi and John Bruhnke, both long-time students of Robbens, have years of musical experience under their belts both teaching, and playing professionally.

Impressed by their progress, Robben feels confident that they will be excellent mentors for anyone wanting to connect with his approach to playing. They’ve walked in your shoes, tackling the same challenges, and enjoyed those “aha!” moments that make the Dojo experience so awesome!

Whether you’re working on key concepts or simply seeking a better understanding of the fretboard, Alberto and John are ready to guide you every step of the way to achieving your goals.

Don’t hesitate to connect with them!

ALBERTO
PASSANISI

Based in Rome, Alberto is a seasoned guitarist with over 20 years of playing experience and more than a decade of teaching many students of all levels. He holds a Degree in Guitar, a Master's Degree in Music Pedagogy, and an Advanced Diploma in Jazz Guitar.

Throughout his career, Alberto has performed with numerous musicians and has had the privilege of sharing the stage with renowned Italian artists such as Luca Madonia, Silvia Mezzanotte, Marcello Giordani. His passion for music, combined with his educational background, makes him a dedicated educator and a versatile performer.

JOHN
BRUHNKE

John a professional musician based in Chicago, with over 30 years of experience in both performing and teaching guitar. He regularly plays at the iconic Buddy Guy’s Legends and has shared the stage with blues legends like Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Lonnie Brooks, Junior Wells, and Koko Taylor.

John’s deep understanding of blues stems from years of performing in clubs and touring, combined with jazz studies under the renowned Chicago guitarist Bobby Broom. It was only through his Dojo studies, however, that John gained the freedom to play fluidly over any changes, learning to apply modes, diminished, and altered scales, while also expanding his chordal vocabulary.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Each of these instructors are professional teachers and are offering
Robben’s Dojo students a complimentary exploratory lesson.
Subsequent lessons will be offered at a “reduced Dojo rate” of $50/half hr and $75/hour.
To be discussed individually.
